We’re excited to announce the NEW Great Cava Pursuit! Apply to be among the over 100 GuildSomm members who will participate in one of four live competitions. At these events, eight participants will be awarded a fall 2025 trip to Cava country.

Applications are now open for the four competitions, taking place in-person across the US. Event dates are as follows. All events run from 10am until 1pm.

• Los Angeles, CA: Tuesday, April 8
• Dallas, TX: Thursday, April 10
• Washington, DC: Tuesday, April 15
• Tampa, FL: Thursday, April 17

Each live event will include an in-depth seminar and tasting on D.O. Cava led by MS Christopher Tanghe, followed by a timed quiz testing your understanding of D.O. Cava.

Two top-scoring participants at each competition location will be awarded an all-expense paid, immersive trip to Spain to visit the Cava region in fall 2025 alongside a GuildSomm instructor and the other winners.
