Maximilian Kast fell in love with wine while studying history at the University of Montana and began to pursue a career in the wine industry shortly thereafter. For more than a decade he honed his sommelier skills as Wine Director of two Relais & Chateaux properties, Triple Creek Ranch in Montana and The Fearrington House in North Carolina. Wanting to explore another side of the industry, Max then worked for Broadbent Selections as a Regional Manager Director of Education. Today, he is Estate Director of BOND winery in Napa Valley. Max earned his Master Sommelier title in 2018.
