Jonathan Eichholz

Jonathan worked as a sommelier at The Modern in New York City from 2019 to 2022. He currently contributes to GuildSomm through managing Compendium updates, fact-checking new content, and teaching seminars. Jonathan was awarded Best Young Sommelier USA by Chaîne des Rôtisseurs in 2019. He is an Advanced Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers and a Certified Cicerone.

Samantha Cole-Johnson

Sam Cole-Johnson is the US Pacific Northwest specialist for JancisRobinson.com and the Oregon contributor for Hugh Johnson's Pocket Wine Book. She also teaches WSET courses at Portland's Wine and Spirit Archive. Sam has worked five harvests and has a particular interest in regenerative farming and fair worker treatment. She holds the WSET Diploma and is a Master of Wine student.
