In reading through the section above on Willamette Valley, the following is noted: "The northern valley between Salem and Portland is home to almost 85% of the AVA’s Pinot Noir, and all nine of the Willamette Valley’s smaller, nested AVAs are also located here, roughly encircling McMinnville." I believe that the AVA of Lower Long Tom, added in 2021, changes both the total sub-AVA's to ten and the reference to the geography.
