Hey Anthony! The guide is updated. Thanks!
Guide should be updated to include Pouilly Fuisses 1er crus as of 2020 vintage
Hey Anthony! Yes, it is essentially a blend of the crus via negociant sourcing. Louis Latour, Albert Bichot, and Maison Leroy all utilize this designation.
In the compendium it says Bourgogne AOP Gamay must come from vineyards in the Beaujolais Cru AOCs is that to say that the fruit must come from the 10 crus and is essentially a blend of cru beaujolais?
Likewise the box on declassification could use an update... Comte de Vogue's Musigny Blanc has been bottled as a Grand Cru again since 2015.
Can a mention of the new (2017) Bourgogne Côte d'Or designation be added here. I've seen it crop up on a few labels of both domaine and negociant producers.
Thanks!
Small note, but the text above still mentions Vézelay as a village that may append its name to Bourgogne AOP. I believe this is no longer the case as Vézelay was upgraded to its own AOP in 2017.
